Blissley Blooms is a Florida-based small business that creates seasonal garden education kits designed especially for homeschool families and young nature enthusiasts. Each box includes Florida-friendly seeds or plants, STEAM activities, crafts, and educational materials that make learning fun, creative, and hands-on.

Blissley Blooms boxes are available in two age levels: 🌱 Sprouts (ages 4–7) and 🪴 Jr. Botanists (ages 8–12). Each follows the same seasonal theme but features developmentally appropriate STEAM lessons—helping every child grow, learn, and bloom at their own pace.

Each seasonal kit includes:

• 🌱 3 edible seed varieties and 1 flower seed suited to your region

• 🧪 1 STEAM activity with materials and directions

• 🎨 A themed craft tied to the lesson

• 🐝 Educational inserts with fun facts and Florida gardening tips

• 💖 Themed activity pages and decals

Florida’s growing seasons are unlike anywhere else! Each Blissley Blooms box is filled with seeds carefully chosen to thrive across all Florida climates—from the Panhandle to the Keys. We select only heat-tolerant, humidity-ready plants that grow successfully throughout the state, using trusted UF/IFAS Extension resources to guide our choices.

Most boxes include seeds, not live plants, so you can start your growing journey from the very beginning! Some specialty boxes may include starter slips or small plants when shipping conditions allow.

Blissley Blooms boxes are released seasonally—four times a year (Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter). Each one is carefully timed to match Florida’s planting calendar.

Absolutely! Our boxes are wonderful for classrooms, after-school programs, or families who simply love hands-on learning. Anyone who enjoys gardening and science exploration will love Blissley Blooms!

Blissley Blooms was created by Ms. Megan Hull, a homeschool mom and science educator with over 14 years of classroom experience and a background in curriculum design. Every activity is rooted in Florida science standards and designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and real-world learning—right from your own backyard.

You can choose either option! Families can subscribe to receive each seasonal box automatically, or purchase individual boxes to try out the program before committing.
